Our Story.
Leitwert is a Zurich-based start-up founded in 2014 during a robotics project at ETH Zurich’s Autonomous Systems Lab. Over time, Leitwert has been specializing in the development of firmware for wearable devices. Due to our involvement in related projects, we learned of the huge potential these devices have to improve healthcare and clinical research. On the other hand, we recognized the lack of applications and infrastructure to integrate such devices into healthcare and research processes.
As a consequence, we now fully focus on seamless device-to-cloud connectivity – from device firmware over gateways to an open device- and data management platform. Our tech stack closes the gap between wearable sensors and the data applications that will revolutionize healthcare. We collaborate with leading Swiss wearable manufacturers and research institutions to make sure our solutions fit the requirements of manufacturers and users of wearable devices all along the device lifecycle.
